ACeT Innovates Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) is proud to host the Bridge to Malaysia: Innovation Gateway Series, organized in strategic collaboration with Leave a Nest Co., Ltd. (Japan). As the managing body behind the Center of Garage Malaysia—a soft-landing platform for startups locally and internationally entering the Malaysia market—ACeT Innovates leads this initiative to support cross-border innovation and expansion.
Running from May 2025 to July 2025, this three-month webinar series aims to connect Japanese deep-tech startups, researchers, and corporate innovators with Malaysia’s rapidly growing innovation ecosystem. The initiative supports Japan-Malaysia technology transfer and cross-border startup acceleration through focused knowledge-sharing sessions, live discussions, and real case studies.
The webinars will serve as a preliminary market touchpoint for Japanese stakeholders, introducing them to key Malaysian industry players, regulatory considerations, and opportunities for localization and collaboration. Each session features a sharing presentation from a Japanese startup with first-hand experience navigating the Malaysian market, followed by an interactive Q&A with attendees.
To further strengthen local engagement, all invited panelists will be selected from the startup ecosystem within the Center of Garage Malaysia, offering unique insights and real-world experience in scaling and operating within the Malaysian innovation landscape.
This project also reflects the broader objective of supporting Japanese companies in assessing market viability and building local networks before physical expansion—making it a valuable entry strategy for those interested in Malaysia’s deep-tech sectors such as BioTech, MedTech, CleanTech, MediaTech, and FoodTech.
